How to Contribute to MeeFie

Here’s how you can contribute to MeeFie:

Desktop / Laptop

1. Ensure that your computer as a modern web browser that supports extensions ( Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
2. Download and install the Metamask browser extension. One installed, you should be able to see something like this.
   
   
3. Setup your metamask wallet. Here’s a guide that will be able to help you with that.
4. Ensure that your metamask wallet is connected to the Ethereum Main net. This normally comes with the default installation, but if it does not appear on your installation, you can use this guide for it.
5. Obtain some Ethereum and USDT. It is advisable to keep some Ethereum balance that can cover gas fees. Your USDT should also be at least 1000 USDT to make a donation. ( Click on this to get you going with how to get Eth and USDT.)
6. Once you have your wallet settled, go to our contributions page.
7. From there, click on the “Connect wallet” button found on the top left. This will open up your metamask wallet. Simply follow the steps from the wizard and make sure that you selected “Desktop”. Here’s a screenshot that will guide you:
   
   
8. When you are connected, you should be seeing a preview of your wallet address on the top left of the app and your ETH and USDT balances. Please note that you will only see ETH and USDT in this app. ( NOTE: please ignore the summary of donations you see at the bottom of the screenshot )
   
   
9. Upon successful connection, you are now ready to make a donation. Simply fill out the form. Before you click on the submit button, you will see that there is an optional field for a “destination” wallet. This simply means that you have the option to have the MeeFie ( MFT ) tokens sent to the indicated wallet during the vesting period. As this is an optional field, leaving it blank will meant that we will be sending the MFT to the wallet that is currently in use to make the donation. Upon clicking on the “submit” button, you see your Metamask application pop up with a summary of the transaction. It might still be pending when you see it, please give it a while to complete. When completed, you will see a notification on the app, and the history of your donations at the bottom.
   
   
10. That completes the donation process. You can connect to the app to see a summary of your donation or verify it’s transaction. You will be receiving a certificate of contribution in your email after 2 business days.
    

Mobile

1. Install the metamask app on your mobile.
2. Follow the wizard to setup your wallet.
3. Ensure that your wallet is connected to the Ethereum Main Net
4. Obtain ETH and USDT. It is advisable to keep some Ethereum balance that can cover gas fees. Your USDT should also be at least 1000 USDT to make a donation.
5. Once you are ready, click on the browser icon. Here’s a screenshot to show you how it looks like ( Note: this was taken on IOS, it may differ in Android)
   
6. From the browser, navigate to https://contributions.meefie.com/
7. From there, tap on the “Connect Wallet” button. Once done, you shall see a segment of your wallet address on the top left of the page.
   
   
8. Follow steps 8 and 9 of the browser guide above to make a donation. Please note that since your using a the mobile app, Metamask might look a little different, but it should show you the same transaction summary.
